What is Frames?

Frames is a shared augmented reality platform where you place your own art, photos and 3D creations in real-world locations, and they stay there. Come back months later and your piece is exactly where you left it, ready for anyone who passes by to discover.

Most AR experiences are built for you to consume. Frames is built for you to create.

How it works

Frames is not designed to keep you scrolling. It works the other way: the only way to see what's out there is to go out and find it. It's a social app that actually rewards you for ‘touching grass’.

For digital artists, Frames is a gallery without walls, a way to show 2D and 3D work in unique environments. For communities, it's a way to tell stories, mark moments and make shared spaces your own.

Frames is an independent passion project, and is still in the early stages. Where it goes next will be shaped by the people using it, so we want to hear from you.

Testing

Frames is in testing on iOS and Android. If you'd like an early build, join the list and tick the box — I'll send an invite and ask for your honest notes.
